Reading Church Plant

Reading, Massachusetts is a beautiful New England community about 20 minutes north of Boston

where 41% of the people are not part of any church!

 

Our vision is to be a missional church united in Jesus Christ, dedicated to loving God, loving others and making disciples as we go.  One of the ways we intend to make disciples is by inviting people to a 12 week small group called Join the Journey where people can come and discover who God is, in community, beginning in Genesis and going through the Gospels.

How you can participate in the journey:

  • If you would like more information about Join the Journey or know someone who might be interested in participating in the next small group, email me at dkejdd@verizon.net.
  • To join our prayer team, email me at the same email address.  I will send you monthly updates with prayer requests and praises.  You can begin to pray now.  Pray that "God may open a door for our message” in Reading and that “we may proclaim it clearly.”  (Col. 4:3&4)

Eriksons at YellowstoneAbout us.  The Eriksons are a family who love God and His creation, are grateful for the grace and forgiveness they have experienced in Jesus Christ and long to introduce people to our Creator and Redeemer.  David grew up in Reading and loves investing in his boys and others by coaching.  David served as a Youth Pastor for 11 years and has served as the Associate Pastor at FCC since 2007.  David is also licensed with the CCCC's.  Krista teaches at an elementary school in Reading, is very active in the various PTO's and loves to cheer on her boys.  Erik, Joshua, David & Daniel are also in the public schools in Reading.  They enjoy participating in soccer, baseball, basketball, drama and chorus.  Brady is our very loving Golden Doodle (he was not in Yellowstone with us).  He loves to meet people (and other dogs) at sporting events and on walks.
